About Aegiron
Aegiron is building the observability layer for Europe's critical infrastructure. Our software-defined sensor nodes enable operators to anticipate threats, identify vulnerabilities and strengthen their resilience against emerging threats. Backed by premier venture capital funds and angels, we are currently prototyping with blue-chip European infrastructure operators.
The Role
As our Founders Associate, you will be the CEO's right hand and force multiplier. You will work directly with him to execute day-one tasks across every non-technical function. This is a high-impact, high-growth position for a generalist who wants to see exactly how a frontier-tech company is built from the ground up.
You will be responsible for turning strategic visions into operational reality.
What You Will Do
- Founder support & strategy: Act as a sounding board for the CEO. Help prepare board materials, investor updates, and pitch decks for our next funding rounds.
- GTM & business development: Support our CEO (who brings years of enterprise GTM/Growth experience) in managing relationships with major pan-European infrastructure operators.
- Operations & finance: Own the "operational spine" of the company—from managing our Pre-Seed budget and hiring pipelines to setting up our first office in Berlin.
- Special projects: Lead high-priority initiatives that don't yet have a home, whether it's researching new regulatory demands for European resilience or sourcing components for our sensor nodes.
- Communications: Manage Aegiron's external presence and ensure our mission of "connected security" is clearly communicated to stakeholders and the public.
Who We Are Looking For
- Hyper-generalist: You are equally comfortable reviewing a legal contract, drafting a sales proposal, or helping the CTO organize a field test.
- Ownership mindset: You don't wait for a manual. You see a gap—whether in our operations or our hiring—and you fill it.
- Track record of excellence: You've consistently shown excellence in your previous pursuits, e.g. through outstanding academic achievement, work experience, or professional sports.
- Analytical rigor: You can take complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Berlin-based: You are ready to work on-site in Berlin to build a strong founding culture alongside the core team.
- Languages: Native-level German and English required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of full-time work experience in high-performance environments like startups, scale-ups, consulting, banking, or private equity/VC.
- Ambition: You want to build your own company one day and view this as the ultimate bootcamp.
