The Role
The lead instructional designer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end production and maintenance of our training material. This role involves overseeing a team of content specialists, managing the course production pipeline, building certification strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, engaging, and effective learning content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, excellent people management skills, and a passion for creating exceptional learning experiences

Your main responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end course production process, from initial concept through to final delivery.
- Allocate resources effectively and manage project timelines.
- Ensure all courses meet high standards of quality, accuracy, and instructional effectiveness.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes, including peer reviews and user testing.
- Develop and design instructional materials, including e-learning modules, video tutorials, and supporting documentation.
- Apply best practices in instructional design and adult learning theories to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure course content is accurate and relevant.
- Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align course content with company goals and branding.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and report on project progress.
- Be ready to lead and mentor a team of instructional designers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture
- Monitor and analyze course performance metrics to inform future course development.
You should have
- 3 years of experience in training or instructional design
- At least 1 year in a leadership or management role is preferred
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles
- Proven experience managing the course production process and delivering high-quality educational content.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Nice to haves
- Prior experience in the software or technology sector, with an understanding of the unique training needs of software users.
- Ability to create visually appealing graphics and learning materials using tools like Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
- Strong skills in delivering live training sessions, webinars, or speaking at industry conferences.
