The Role
We are looking for an Application Maintenance Engineer who can work independently or within a small team to ensure our applications remain performant, efficient, and optimised post-lunch. This role will involve monitoring applications, liaising between teams, providing insights to improve application performance and reliability, and actively participatin in the resolution of significant incidents.

Your Main Responsibilities
- You will need to work in a multi-application environmentLiaise between different teams (Engineering, Product, DevOps, Support and Customer Success) to address application configuration and maintenance issues.Document and communicate issues or recommendations to the relevant teams effectively.Collaborate with Product, Engineering and DevOps teams on enhancements and optimisations in application performance.
- Stay informed about product features and evolving technologies relevant to our applications.
- Define, track and report technical application monitoring KPIs to ensure optimal performance.
- Analyse application performance and identify areas for improvement.
You should have
- Have strong technical skills, preferably with a background in software development.
- Possesses great communication skills to convey technical concepts to various stakeholders (internal and external)
- Be proactive in identifying issues and suggesting improvements.
- Be happy to speak with customers on occasion and manage expectations.
- Have experience working in cross-functional teams, especially in a SaaS environment.
- Be familiar with application performance monitoring tools and methodologies.
Nice to haves
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and marketing automation tools.Knowledge of web technologies and databases, including RESTful APIs and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Experience in an application support or maintenance role.
