Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation, Control, and Firmware Engineer to augment our hardware team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in bringing more Liquid Brain systems online and enhancing our current systems. This full-stack hardware engineering role focuses on firmware, control, and automation, requiring close collaboration with our core tech team, software engineering and product teams to ensure seamless integration with our software and data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and improvement of firmware for Liquid Brain systems, ensuring high reliability and performance.
Design and implement control and automation solutions to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
Work closely with the software engineering team to ensure smooth integration of hardware with software and data solutions.
Provide full-stack hardware engineering expertise, contributing to the overall design and functionality of our products.
Stay abreast of cutting-edge technologies in fields like medical devices, IoT, AR/VR, wearables, neurotech, and audio systems to continually enhance our hardware offerings.
Qualifications:
Postgraduate or Ph.D. in Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in automation, control, and firmware development.
Proven track record in developing firmware and control systems for scientific products, particularly in sectors like medical devices, IoT, AR/VR, wearables, neurotech, or audio systems.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in hardware-software integration.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
