AI Research Engineer (Senior / Founding team)
Argil is building two things: the best video avatar model and the best consumer product on top of it.

The position:
You will be the first AI Research Engineer on the team. Your goal will be to own, improve, and develop the next version of our SOTA video model and optimize its quality, speed, and reliability. You will have the opportunity to build a top-tier AI company based in Paris.
What We're Looking For:
Proven track record of implementing, calibrating, and evaluating ML models in a production environment.
Able to read, improve, and build on top of the best research paper
A fast learner with a good track record, min 3 years of XP.
A deep passion for coding and machine learning.
Skilled in Python and willing to learn other programming languages and tools as needed for projects.
“A” Player mindset, no toxic ego.
Must-Have Skills:
Python and PyTorch
Knowledge of software best practices.
English speaker
Proven leadership skills with a history of successfully leading projects to completion and directing technical teams
Strong communication skills
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with Transformers, GAN, Wav2Vec, and 3D ML models.
End-to-end experience with at least one prominent cloud provider.
Experience in a fast-paced tech environment.
French speaker.
