Role Overview: As a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer at Codility, your primary focus will be on engaging and influencing technical stakeholders to achieve the "technical win." You'll act as the trusted technical advisor, helping clients identify strong alignment between their needs and Codility’s offerings. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, customer empathy, and strategic communication to drive adoption and demonstrate value.

  • Build Relationships: Engage with technical decision-makers, earning their trust and becoming a go-to advisor throughout the sales process.

  • Discover Needs: Dive deep into customer challenges, workflows, and goals to understand how Codility can solve their problems.

  • Craft Solutions: Develop and present tailored approaches that connect Codility's platform to the customer’s business and technical objectives.

  • Show the Value: Deliver dynamic product demos that bring Codility’s capabilities to life and address customer-specific needs.

  • Guide Success: Support evaluations, pilots, and proofs of concept, making sure customers achieve their technical goals.

  • Advocate for Codility: Clearly communicate the platform’s benefits, tackle objections, and reinforce why Codility is the best fit.

  • Collaborate and Improve: Work closely with product, engineering, and sales teams to share customer insights and refine Codility’s offerings.

  • Empower the Sales Team: Provide technical expertise to strengthen proposals and make customer pitches more impactful.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Sales Know-How: A proven background in technical sales or a similar role, with an interest in growing into a Sales Engineering position.

  • Technical Knowledge: You don’t need to be a developer, but you should be code-literate and comfortable discussing modern web technologies. A solid understanding of how web applications work, the role of programming languages, and the broader software ecosystem is essential. This familiarity will help you communicate effectively with technical teams and understand product capabilities and constraints.

  • Industry Insights: Understanding the challenges of hiring and developing technical talent, especially in HR tech, will give you an edge.

  • Love for Learning: You’ve shown you can upskill proactively and use new knowledge to drive meaningful change in your work or customer relationships. Bonus points if you can demonstrate a track record of up-skilling and knowledge acquisition.
