Curve works with payment services suppliers and technology vendors to deliver a unique customer proposition. As our Vendor Manager you will support Curve’s domain experts to track and manage their key supplier and vendor relationships.

As Vendor Manager you will orchestrate all Vendor management activity with a focus on ensuring that all of Curve’s key suppliers and vendors are effectively tracked and managed, costs are controlled, value is delivered from relationships and that all teams know well ahead when renewal or notice in contract is due.

You will maintain strong relationships with all business areas who have daily relationships with vendors and work together with them to ensure that vendor relationships are maintained and that new vendors and suppliers are effectively onboarded into the business.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Management of the data that summarises Curve’s contracts with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Proactive engagement with Business teams to ensure that any pre-renewal activity is planned and completed to enable optimal renewal negotiations, ensuring the risk elements are incorporated and value for money is achieved.
  • Drive the end to end procurement process with key stakeholders e.g. finance, legal, info-sec, technology teams
  • Management of RFP/RFI process
  • Contract negotiation in partnership with COO and Business Leads including review and evaluation of new contracts to ensure that Curve is in the best contractual position possible.
  • Ensuring that due diligence is followed and 3rd party risk is minimised.
  • Support Curve departments with 3rd party performance management including regular reviews and ongoing due diligence to evaluate service and any emerging risks to Curve.
  • Support Curve departments to develop a pipeline for potential new vendors of our existing services.
  • Support Curve departments with research on potential new providers of new services.
  • Building and developing effective relationships with key business stakeholders to understand the business needs and propose appropriate solutions in relation to procurement of goods and services
  • Monthly review meetings with key Business Stakeholders to review the status on contracts and suppliers
  • Monthly reports to COO and Finance on the status of Curves’ vendors and suppliers

Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years experience of vendor and supplier management in a financial services environment.
  • Experience and understanding of Third-Party Risk and control concepts, with extensive Vendor Management
  • Proven experience working with multiple teams and departments
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with all stakeholders
  • Effective time manager with ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Experience of supporting strategic initiatives that involve key vendors.
  • Strong Commercial acumen and good risk management and mitigation skills.
