The Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented Frontend Developer with a strong background in React and TypeScript to join our development team. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with Next.js and Material-UI, and it would be advantageous if they have some familiarity with tRPC and React Query. Knowledge and experience in AWS are also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Build and optimise components using Next.js and Material-UI for a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.
  • Implement state management and data fetching strategies using tRPC and React Query.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in React and TypeScript.
  • Experience with Next.js and Material-UI.
  • Familiarity with tRPC and React Query is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AWS services and cloud deployment.
  • Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.

Bonus points:

  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
