What you bring to the role

  • At least 5 years’ of relevant work experience in finance - preferably as a financial controller or in operational finance roles
  • Experience in accounting – preferably has work experience as an accountant and / or accounting qualifications (for example but not limited to ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the Finance function
  • Drive continuous improvements in our finance & governance setup across the company
  • Coordinate production and improvement of management accounts in collaboration with our external accounting advisor and book-keeper
  • Lead on financial and commercial analysis (for example budget variance analysis and in-depth commercial lever analysis to enable revenue management and optimisation)
  • Coordinate month-end and year-end processes across finance & operations
  • Manage and reconcile suppliers and partners contracts; payments; and checks / balances
  • Lead on monthly revenue collection – including invoicing and direct debit management
  • Lead on accounts payable management – including the weekly payment run
  • Structure and oversee refund and other client payments management (incl. risk management)
  • Oversee non-payment process & debt collection process
  • Manage cash and financing needs in collaboration with the CEO

Compensation:
£60,000 - £80,000 base salary (experience dependant)
£6,000 - £60,000 in shares through EMI options
