By leveraging MRI, we’ve created a comprehensive way to screen your body for potential cancer that’s fast, accurate, and affordable. We’ve detected possible cancer for 13% of our members to date. We’re working towards new AI-based medical technology clearances that will improve the Ezra experience for our members. As Ezra’s Product owner, you would lay the foundation for product development standards at Ezra as we scale our engineering & product organization. You will have the chance to solve problems at the intersection of healthcare & technology while thoroughly understanding our customers’ (or, as we call them, members’) experiences when they navigate the healthcare system. You will help enable early cancer detection for everyone by spearheading the web portal development that enables both members & our team to manage the Ezra journey. This portal is central to the seamless end-to-end experience that Ezra is facilitating to make early detection more accessible.
As a Product Owner at Ezra, you will:
Define the vision for our products
Create a product roadmap based on this vision
Define requirements for backlog items (epics/features/user stories) that guide the Agile software development team
Manage the product backlog and prioritize it based on changing requirements
Understand our members and their user experience, and find opportunities for improvement (customer-centric mindset)
Manage stakeholders
Create buy-in for product strategy with various stakeholders and deliver regular updates.
Key requirements
2-5+ years of building & shipping products that change the world for the better
2+ years of building the product discipline at a start-up from scratch
Bachelor’s degree or higher
You have worked on a consumer-facing web product with a strong understanding of product-building areas, including engineering, design, analytics, and user research.
You can manage many stakeholders, from engineers to our executive team
Strong commitment to quality
You are good at building a vision & making data-validated decisions
You can continuously iterate by using customer feedback in your work
Exposure to the healthcare space is an asset
Experience/Knowledge as a software developer is also a plus
