The role, in short: Remote position in UTC±4h. $80-130k/y, plus meaningful equity in the company. Be part of a small, energetic team who deeply care about craft and creating great work – and have fun doing it.
We’re looking for someone with:
Crucial:
Proficient in system architecture, capable of developing complete features from API conception to database design
Experience with Node.js, Typescript, and SQL databases (preferably Postgres)
Practical experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
Comfortable working with message queues and / or event-driven architectures (e.g. SQS / SNS, Pub/Sub, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Experience with Docker
Familiarity with Redis
Excellent written communications skills (necessary for remote work)
Desirable:
Experience with Elasticsearch and search in general
Knowledge of Kubernetes and / or IaC (e.g. Terraform)
