At Fiat Republic, we are a team of banking and payments experts on a mission to help democratize access to fiat for the web3 economy. Our platform brings together crypto-friendly banks, allowing crypto platforms to create accounts in multiple currencies easily and access local payment rails via a single API, built with a developer-first ethos. To support us through our journey, we have secured the support of multiple well-known and reputable tier-1 VCs. We are a 4 years-old start-up, 20+ people strong, with very diverse backgrounds and an inclusive culture, currently headquartered in London, Netherlands, Poland, and Canada.

About the role:

We are quickly accelerating and are thus looking for a junior
Customer Support Agent who will be responsible for a variety of external and internal support.
The expectation is to provide legendary customer service and an exceptional client experience with every interaction, which includes prompt and thorough responses to inquiries while maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude at all times while contributing to business objectives for operational excellence.

This is a mostly-remote-hybrid position within Poland (Poznan area preferably), 12:00-20:00, Monday to Friday
(with the potential to work Tuesday to Saturday in the future), reporting directly to Senior Customer Success Manager.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting clients with requests (including technology, compliance, payments, and financial topics) by responding and resolving concerns; escalating when necessary, via support ticketing system, Slack, email, and phone
  • Impacting team results through the quality of the support provided
  • Maintaining comprehensive product knowledge to effectively assist clients with inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide accurate information and solutions
  • Monitoring client communication channels and providing timely resolution, assisting with requests, and liaising with internal teams as required (such as Compliance, Tech, Sales, or Product)
  • Collecting customer feedback as part of Voice of Customer
  • Maintaining high client retention rates while increasing customer satisfaction

About you:

  • Excellent professional written and oral communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently, with excellent time management skills
  • Technical aptitude and business acumen
  • Problem-solving abilities, coupled with a desire to take responsibility
  • A willingness to engage with clients to go above and beyond to deliver
  • A dynamic, professional, yet friendly personality
  • Experience working in a similar function in a banking, payments, or crypto role (preferred)
  • Knowledge of financial/payment products and processes (preferred)
  • Good understanding of APIs (preferred)
