About you

We’re looking for a visionary AI Product Strategist to join our team and lead the charge in shaping AI-driven solutions from the ground up. If you’ve been a technical founder, CTO, or product leader with a passion for AI and strategic product development, this is your chance to make a significant impact.

More on the role

As our AI Product Strategist, reporting directly to our CPO and Founder Johnny Morris, you will take ownership of the product discovery process, leading the development of AI-powered products that solve real problems for document-heavy industries. You’ll identify market opportunities, design cutting-edge AI solutions, and work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and customer teams to bring those solutions to life.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys both the strategic and tactical aspects of product development—from ideation and market validation to hands-on prototyping and iterative development.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• AI Innovation: Lead the product discovery process, identifying key market needs, gathering user insights, and defining opportunities for AI-powered innovation.
• Product Strategy: Drive the strategic vision for AI product development, creating a roadmap for building products that provide real value to customers.
• MVP Execution: Take charge of developing and iterating MVPs quickly, leveraging AI technologies, prompt engineering, and rapid prototyping to validate product concepts.
• Customer-Focused Solutions: Work closely with customers to understand their workflows, gather feedback, and build custom AI-driven solutions, such as:
  • Automating data extraction (e.g., extracting structured data from large volumes of property leases).
  • Workflow automation (e.g., analyzing documents to generate planning advice).
  • Creating multi-step content workflows (e.g., generating market research reports).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, sales, and customer teams to design proof of concepts, deliver technical demos, and solve customer pain points with AI.
• Iterate and Improve: Post-launch, gather customer feedback, provide ongoing technical support, and continuously iterate on the product to refine and improve its performance.

What we're looking for

In general

• Ex-Technical Founders, Indie Hackers or Product Builders: You’ve built and scaled products from concept to market, particularly leveraging AI.
• AI & Technical Expertise: Strong expertise in AI, particularly GenAI and prompt engineering. You’re comfortable working with AI tools to develop real-world solutions.
• Strategic Thinker & Doer: You enjoy the challenge of balancing high-level product strategy with hands-on execution, ensuring your MVPs align with both business goals and customer needs.
• Customer-Centric Mindset: You have a passion for understanding customer workflows and solving their most pressing problems with innovative technology.
• Startup Experience: You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and can manage ambiguity and rapid pivots with ease.

Must

• Experience with MVP Development: You’ve successfully taken products from concept through to MVP and have a deep understanding of the iterative product development process.
• AI Experience: You’ve worked with AI models and technologies, particularly in applying them to business challenges and improving workflows.
• Strong Communication Skills: You can translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: You’re self-driven, adaptable, and thrive in an environment that demands creativity, initiative, and continuous learning.
