About you
You're a Swiss army knife who's happy to roll up your sleeves and get involved with everything related to ensuring our customers have a great experience while also helping drive our US market expansion. Although we're hiring for an Account Manager, given this is a seed-stage startup with a small team, this role will go far beyond that. You'll be a mix of Account Manager, Customer Success, Business Development, and Product Manager - and probably wear many more hats beside - in your quest to deliver the best possible results for customer and company.
You thrive in fast-paced environments, with a proven ability to grow usage and accounts, and generate additional revenue. You LOVE speaking to customers over whatever channel works best, and are great at building trust fast. You'll be our first US Account Manager, helping to establish our presence while working closely with our global team.
When you encounter a challenge, you don't give up or rely on other people to fix it - you dive in with creative solutions, and if they don't work you pick yourself back up and try again - never stopping until there is a resolution.
What we're looking for:
- An interest in the property industry and empathy for the challenges faced by professionals in the sector
- Proven ability to grow account usage and generate significant revenue
- Experience working with product and engineering teams to influence roadmaps
- Record of identifying critical product features that significantly impact user adoption
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications
- Startup (or messy scaleup) experience
- US real estate experience is a HUGE plus 🏡
- Business development or sales experience is highly valued
The role
Based in New York and reporting to Erin Isaac, Customer Success Lead, your mission will be threefold: support and grow our existing US customer base, drive new business development in the US market, and help shape our product direction.
Day to day you might...
- Develop and execute innovative strategies to expand our footprint & revenue streams within existing accounts - meaningfully contributing to our ARR figures
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the US market
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential new customers through proactive outreach and networking
- Analyze behavior and workflows as you review account activity, identifying patterns and opportunities for product enhancement
- Work with engineering to shape their roadmap based on customer insights, and challenge their plans when needed
- Identify and refine 'keystones' - the critical features and workflows that form the backbone of our product strategy
- Build deep relationships with our current customers to understand their needs and ensure Ellie is meeting them
- Be our non-technical support lead for all US customer queries, including building out our knowledge base
- Creatively engage existing customers through multi-channel communications and events
- Represent Fifth Dimension AI at industry events and conferences to generate leads and build brand awareness
- Build your expertise in how GenAI can change the Real Estate industry
- Analyze usage stats and implement strategies to increase Monthly Active Users
- Start understanding new customers from late in the sales cycle to ensure successful onboarding
- Help shape our US market entry strategy and build our presence in the region
