About Flagcat:
Flagcat is a webtoon studio building its own proprietary engine to produce top notch original series.
The company just raised €2 million and aims to become one of the major european players in manga, webtoon, and animation.
In addition to its studio activity, Flagcat owns social apps used by several million manga and webtoon fans every month.
Job description & missions:
We are looking for an experienced FX Specialist to work on our main action webtoon.
You will be responsible for designing powers & special effects of our characters, as well as optimizing the rendering inside the panels. You will also work with our colorists to ensure special effects are well integrated all along our webtoon.
By joining Flagcat, you will have the opportunity to participate in the launch of a webtoon super-production, read by millions of fans.
Required skills:
You already worked for a top action webtoon as FX specialist
You have experience in power/magic effects designing
You can both do concept art on pre-production & rendering on the panels
You master 3D assets & ClipStudioPaint
You can work quickly and are confortable with deadlines
You are a webtoon fan
Bonus:
You already worked with a top Korean Studio as an FX or colorist expert
Flagcat offer:
Salary €35K-€45K depending on profile.
Remote work or on-site (our offices are located in Paris, République).
100% of transportation costs covered.
