The company just raised €2 million and aims to become one of the major european players in manga, webtoon, and animation.
In addition to its studio activity, Flagcat owns social apps used by several million manga and webtoon fans every month.
Job description & missions:
We are looking for a seasoned Concept Artist to work on our main action webtoon.
You will be primarily responsible for designing Backgrounds and be involved in the creation of iconic items such as weapons. You will work with the pre-production team - author, storyboarder, Chara designer, FX specialist - and make sure the production team gets all the assets they need to ship all the chapters.
You could also work directly on the panels, adapting the backgrounds for each shot.
By joining Flagcat, you will have the opportunity to participate in the launch of a webtoon super-production, read by millions of fans.
Required skills:
You have extensive experience in background designing.
You know how to design iconic backgrounds in the style of Omniscient Reader or Solo Leveling
You master 3D assets & ClipStudioPaint
You know how to draw iconic backgrounds and paint on top of assets
You can both do concept art on pre-production & rendering on the panels
You can work quickly and are confortable with deadlines
You are a webtoon fan
Bonus:
You already worked with a top Korean Studio as a concept artist.
Flagcat offer:
Salary €35K-€45K depending on profile.
