Flow is “Github for hardware”. We’re building a core design/test collaboration platform for the hardware engineering industry. Flow helps the next generation of hardware teams working in aerospace, nuclear, robotics, and automotive get their products to market dramatically faster and save billions in R&D costs.
Today, 80% of the world's orbital payload mass into space is launched by companies using Flow. When we return to the Moon, or make it to Mars—Flow will have been a small, but critical part of these journeys.

We’ve raised $8.5M in seed funding from EQT Ventures, BackedVC, and angel investors including leadership from Figma, Unity, SAP, and Microsoft.
🌟 The role
We’re looking for an ambitious “full-stack” account executive to be involved in every part of sales, from pipeline generation and outbound, through to owning trials and closing. If you are looking for a script and OTE number, we’re not the right company for you. The person we’re looking for is a strategic do-er, who has seen teams scale successfully, is hands-on and excited by the opportunity to grow into a Head of Sales.
You’ll work closely with the customer and our internal engineering and product team, to help build the fabric of what sales look like at Flow. If you’re looking for a role that’s more than just an AE, while having the opportunity to grow quickly into a leadership position; then no other role will come close.
👷♂️ What you’ll do
- Be the first commercial hire at Flow, working closely with the founder to close customers, and exceed targets
- Generating your own pipeline. We believe the old days of volume spam email/SDRs is dead, and that we need to be more creative to generate a pipeline
- Build the right processes, tooling, and automation to create foundations for a scalable sales function adding as much value to customers as possible along the way
- When the time comes, we’ll build on the foundations you’ve laid and build out our GTM teams, from building and onboarding the team to working out how we can scale faster
- Become a product expert and voice of the customer; sharing sales feedback to engineering team to help increase product market fit
- Work broadly across the business, stepping up to help with marketing, community, onboarding customers, and whatever else needs to be done
❤️ About you
We’re open to most backgrounds, but we expect you to have:
- Generated pipeline before via outbound (e.g you once were a BDR)
- You have experience selling complex, 5-6 figure deals to technical end customer
- Are comfortable owning the whole process end to end
- Experience in commercial roles at startups; comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment with a small team of smart colleagues
- You are deeply interested in the problems that the customer is facing and helping them understand how our product can help them to solve these problems
- We sell software to a complex industry, so you must be willing to learn fast, and not be afraid of asking dumb questions
- Improve and level up our sales playbook—improving our conversation rates as you learn
- Nice to have: An engineering or technical background that gives you added credibility to build relationships with our customers
