🚀 About Flow

Flow is massively accelerating the development of next-generation hardware systems. We're the core collaboration layer for complex, regulated engineering—used by the most important space, defense, automotive, and robotics companies of our era.

Backed by Tier-1 VC for our Series A. Angel investors include Patrick + John Collison (Stripe), David Helgason (Founder, Unity), and Kyle Parrish (VP Sales, Figma).

Flow is already the de facto reference for agile systems engineering in hard tech. When humanity returns to the Moon or builds fusion power on Earth—Flow will have played a small but vital role.

🌉 About the Role

You'll embed with the world's most ambitious hardware teams to get Flow working in their environments. These companies are racing to solve humanity's biggest challenges - from getting to Mars to building autonomous vehicles to defending democracy. They need Flow to move faster, and you'll make that happen.

You're a hands-on builder who ships (code, videos, presentations, etc.), but you also understand people and their problems. You'll spend most of your time in our SF office and roughly one week per month traveling to make sure Flow works flawlessly in the most demanding engineering environments on Earth.

This isn't just customer success - you're literally accelerating the development of rockets, clean energy systems, and advanced manufacturing. Your work directly impact how fast we can get to a better future.

🛠️ What You'll Do

  • Own product usage growth and adoption across our customer base, leading to successful customers who retain and grow their footprint with Flow.

  • Travel to customer sites to support, advise, and learn about how our customers do engineering

  • Build solutions to user problems e.g. docs, videos, scripts, API integrations, etc.

  • Develop deep relationships with engineering teams at leading hardware companies, understanding their incentives, processes and challenges

  • Lead technical demos and proof-of-concepts for prospective customers, showcasing Flow's value for hardware development workflows

  • Gather and synthesize customer feedback to inform product roadmap and engineering priorities

  • Provide hands-on technical support for our customers

  • Productize and scale all of the above

♥️ About You

  • High EQ and exceptional communication skills - comfortable presenting to Chief Engineers, helping Mechanical Engineers, and riffing with our Product Engineers.

  • Customer-obsessed - genuinely excited about solving user problems

  • An eye for the critical path - you know what the highest-impact thing you can do is, and you can find fast ways of getting it done.

  • Adaptable - comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities

  • Software development experience with focus on customer-facing implementations

  • Systems thinking - you can see the bigger picture, and optimise for solving underlying problems.

  • Fast - you can learn, adapt and execute quickly (even at the expense of perfection)

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of hardware development workflows - design reviews, testing protocols, compliance requirements

  • Familiarity with modern hardware companies like SpaceX, Anduril, Tesla, and their fast-moving engineering cultures

  • Experience with CAD tools, simulation software, or hardware testing frameworks
