About FluidStack

Fluidstack is the AI Cloud Platform. We build GPU supercomputers for top AI labs, governments, and enterprises. Our customers include Mistral, Poolside, Black Forest Labs, Meta, and more.

Our team is small, highly motivated, and focused on providing a world class supercomputing experience. We put our customers first in everything we do, working hard to not just win the sale, but to win repeated business and customer referrals.

We hold ourselves and each other to high standards. We expect you to care deeply about the work you do, the products you build, and the experience our customers have in every interaction with us.

You must work hard, take ownership from inception to delivery, and approach every problem with an open mind and a positive attitude. We value effectiveness, competence, and a growth mindset.

About the Role

The Principal Commissioning Manager guarantees that every Fluidstack facility performs flawlessly from Day 0. You will lead integrated systems testing (IST) for mechanical, electrical, controls and security systems, proving each site can sustain multi-megawatt GPU loads with margin.

Focus

  • Develop and own the commissioning plan, levels 1–5, in alignment with ASHRAE Cx and Uptime Tier guidelines.

  • Author pre-functional check sheets, functional performance tests and integrated systems test scripts.

  • Coordinate third-party Cx agents, OEM service teams and site operations during energization and load-bank testing.

  • Analyze trend data (BMS, EPMS, DCIM) to validate PUE, redundancy and fail-over performance.

  • Manage issue-tracking log; drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions to closure.

  • Package final turnover documents (O&M manuals, test reports, training materials) for Operations.

About You

  • 7+ years commissioning mission-critical MEP systems (UPS, switchgear, chillers, pumps, BMS/EPMS).

  • Hands-on experience with integrated systems tests ≥ 20 MW and ≥ 5 kW/ft² rack densities.

  • Familiar with IST tools: load banks, networked power meters, high-resolution thermal sensors.

  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 70, ASHRAE 90.4, IEC 61439, ISO 50001.

  • Excellent analytical skills; able to interpret high-frequency telemetry and produce clear executive summaries.

Benefits

  • Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity).

  • Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms.

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.

  • Generous PTO policy, in line with local norms.

  • Fluidstack is remote first, but has offices in key hubs. For all other locations, we provide access to WeWork.
