About the Role
The Data Center Commissioning Manager will take an active role in the preparation of commissioning and support of commissioning on site for Fluidstack's key Data Center projects. This person will is also responsible for handover of the Data Center to the IT infrastructure team or the end customer.
Focus
Manage the commissioning process from site, technical due diligence design review, developing commissioning strategy and plan, attending factory & site acceptance testing, technical issues resolution, commissioning close out and turn over process as and where required.
Create and /or maintain best safety, quality, testing and commissioning practices and update the Cx Process to develop a safe, quality, and cost-effective solutions.
Develop/maintain commissioning Procedures and standards as well as attending regular construction site inspections to evaluate safety, construction, QA/QC, and commissioning process.
Will have effective communication skills and reports regularly on construction progress, commissioning progress, budget safety, schedule, QA/QC, Issues, and KPI metrics.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology desirable
Preferably 10 years’ professional experience and 5 years in Data Center mechanical / electrical project execution and/or Commissioning
Significant design and construction experience in electrical and mechanical systems for multi-million-euro data Center projects
Mechanical and electrical engineering skills in critical infrastructure projects
Direct Data Center Design and project execution experience
Experienced Commissioning Agent and/or design engineer background
Project management skills
Knowledge to develop, write and approve Commissioning plan and Test Scripts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Fluent English & German
Flexibility to travel: anticipated travel amount is up to 80%
