The CE Electrical SME will be a key member of the Data Center Operations team, responsible for overseeing electrical systems and ensuring their optimal performance. This role involves technical operations expertise, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training, with a focus on supporting top AI clients and enhancing operational reliability.

About The Role
The CE Electrical SME will be a key member of the Data Center Operations team, responsible for overseeing electrical systems and ensuring their optimal performance. This role involves technical operations expertise, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training, with a focus on supporting top AI clients and enhancing operational reliability.
Focus
- Serve as an onsite technical resource for electrical infrastructure systems and equipment.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration between local facility teams and applicable local and global teams.
- Support the creation and revision of process documentation (MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs).
- Contribute to the electrical safety program for the site.
- Plan, author, or approve work procedures for electrical troubleshooting, repair, retrofit, and maintenance activities.
- Conduct or oversee hands-on troubleshooting, repair, retrofit, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Oversee electrical system configurations and component upgrades to maintain system integrity.
- Provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) oversight of construction projects and maintenance activities.
- Provide training to Critical Facility Engineers and other cross-functional teams on electrical equipment and systems.
- Manage vendor relationships for electrical maintenance and retrofit work.
- + 7 years of pertinent experience in the electrical industry or at the electrical trade level.
- A Bachelor's degree or trade certification in a related field, combined with at least 3 years of relevant electrical industry experience.
- Proficient in critical facility operations with experience in procedure-based work.
- Demonstrated experience in critical environments.
- Proven ability to comprehend electrical plans, specifications, and equipment shop drawings.
- Theoretical and practical understanding of power equipment and systems, specializing in electrical equipment design, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and/or construction.
- Background in working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Proficient in interpreting blueprints/CAD drawings.
- Background in the data center industry.
- Electrical testing experience or certifications such as NETA or NICET.
- Expertise in instrumentation & control, power system protection, power automation, etc.
- Experience in the construction, operation, and maintenance of high-voltage equipment (up to 345kV).
- Trade Certification or state license as an electrician.
- Previous experience in equipment field service engineering or representation.
