About the Role
The Data Center Procurement Analyst will serve as the backbone of Fluidstack's power and data center sourcing operations. This role is critical to ensure we have accurate, up-to-date intelligence on data center capacity and powered land availability across the globe. You will build and maintain a comprehensive database of hundreds of colocation and powered land partners worldwide, tracking power delivery dates and site specifications that directly impact our ability to deploy gigawatt-scale compute clusters for our customers.
Focus
Build, maintain, and structure a comprehensive database tracking all colocation facilities and powered land sites, including power availability, delivery timelines, specifications, etc.
Conduct monthly check-ins and build deep relationships with hundreds of data center partners around the world to update all critical information in our database.
Ensure database accuracy through systematic verification processes and implement quality control measures to maintain data integrity.
Automate data collection and update processes using Google Sheets, Excel, or other tools to improve system efficiency and scalability.
Present global power capacity, data center delivery timelines, and general market trends to customers and partners to support their strategic decision-making for infrastructure expansion.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Expert-level skills in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables), data validation, and macro/script development.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to structure complex information systems while managing large datasets without errors.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with data center partners across the globe as well as present directly to customers.
Ability to work under pressure, managing priorities and tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
Problem-solver with the ability to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions to scale operations.
Ideally, some familiarity with data center colocation, and/or power infrastructure markets.
