About the Role
We're looking for a Supply Chain Generalist to keep Fluidstack's datacenter and infrastructure supply chain moving with precision and speed. This is a high-impact role at the center of our operations: you'll own the day-to-day execution of equipment procurement, from vendor communication and lead time tracking to delivery confirmation and logistics coordination.
The ideal candidate combines operational rigor with technical curiosity. You understand what transformers are, where to buy chillers, why lead times on InfiniBand switches matter, and how to build tools that guarantee equipment arrives on site on time. You're also excited about automation: you see manual, repetitive data-gathering tasks as surfaces to instrument, not just chores to do.
You Will
Own the end-to-end tracking of hardware purchase orders across datacenter MEP and infrastructure compute, storage, and networking, from PO issuance through delivery confirmation and inventory receipt
Serve as the primary point of contact with hardware vendors and logistics partners, managing communication cadences around lead times, shipment status, and exception handling
Build and maintain dashboards and tracking tools that give infrastructure and finance teams real-time visibility into what's on order, what's in transit, and what's at risk
Automate recurring data-gathering workflows: vendor capacity pulls, lead time updates, shipment ETA aggregation to reduce manual overhead and increase signal fidelity
Coordinate inbound logistics with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and data center receiving teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation; integrating with our WMS and TMS systems
Identify procurement risks proactively (supply constraints, allocation shortfalls, shipping delays) and escalate with context and options, not just flags
Support onboarding of new vendors: collecting documentation, validating capabilities, and integrating them into tracking workflows
Collaborate with infrastructure and finance teams on demand forecasting, PO planning, and budget reconciliation
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related technical field
0-3 years of professional experience in procurement, supply chain coordination, logistics, or operations (internship experience counts)
Hands-on proficiency with spreadsheet tools (Excel or Google Sheets) for data tracking, pivot analysis, and workflow management as well as AI tools to build and automate your processes
Clear, organized written communication — you can write a vendor escalation email and a status summary that both land well
Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where processes are being built, not just followed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with hardware procurement at a technology company, especially a familiarity with datacenter mechanical, electrical, and plumbing and/or infrastructure like GPU servers, network switches, etc. strongly preferred
Exposure to ERP or procurement platforms (SAP, Coupa, NetSuite, or similar) and understanding of PO lifecycle management
Experience building automation or tooling to reduce manual data entry: Zapier workflows, Airtable automations, or equivalent
Familiarity with international freight logistics: Incoterms, customs documentation, freight forwarder coordination, or bonded warehouse handling
Working knowledge of supply chain risk concepts: lead time variability, safety stock, allocation windows, and supplier capacity constraints
Prior experience at a hyperscaler, neocloud, semiconductor company, or hardware-forward tech company (Apple, NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, CoreWeave, Lambda, Google, AWS, or similar)
APICS CSCP or CPSM coursework or certification is a plus, not a requirement
Salary and Benefits
To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings. Our compensation package includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Our cash compensation range for this role is $90,000-$150,000. Final offers vary based on geography, candidate experience, relevant credentials, and other factors.
