You will own daily site operations, coordinate trades and subcontractors, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive schedules to meet aggressive delivery milestones. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role at the center of FluidStack's infrastructure buildout.
Basic Qualifications:
7+ years of on-site construction experience on large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects
Demonstrated experience managing multiple subcontractors, GC relationships, and union representatives simultaneously
Strong working knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards (OSHA, NFPA, NEC)
Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex structural, mechanical, and electrical construction drawings, specs, and RFIs
Proven ability to manage project schedules, logistics, and on-site materials and equipment coordination
Strong communication skills with the ability to report progress clearly to internal stakeholders and external partners
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience specifically in hyperscale data center construction (50MW+ capacity, $100M+ budgets)
Experience overseeing commissioning phases (Level 3, 4, and 5) through facility operations handoff
Background with hyperscale operators or developers such as AWS, Meta, Vantage, QTS, or similar
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Familiarity with prefabrication strategies and their application in accelerating hyperscale delivery timelines
Experience managing construction within or adjacent to live, high-uptime environments
