Role Overview
We are GetAgent, a disruptor in the PropTech space and the leading estate agency comparison site. Through transparency and data, our aim is to provide a straightforward and pain-free solution to the most stressful process a homeowner can undergo; selling their property.
We analyse millions of property listings each year to create an objective measure of estate agent performance. Using our platform, homeowners can sell quicker and achieve a better price. We’re on a mission to make home-selling even easier and the Strategy & Data Analytics team is at the forefront of making this a reality.
The Data Analyst role reports into our Head of Strategy & Implementation. Data is a crucial driver behind our key business decisions; playing a pivotal role in cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll be doing
The role will involve conducting and presenting data analysis for strategic projects as well as supporting teams across the business with ongoing data requirements, queries and processes.
Tasks and responsibilities include
- Writing queries for Redshift, MySQL and BigQuery providing business insights
- Analysing data in Excel/Google Sheets
- Creating dashboards with charts to clearly communicate business insights to team members
- Ensuring product analytics provide actionable data for the product team
- Improving existing reporting system to help teams identify hidden opportunities
- Be the go-to-person for data availability & extraction questions
- Monitoring data quality and consistency across different sources
- Automating reporting and data collection processes
- Ensuring product A/B tests are correctly setup and statistically rigorous
- Extrapolating marketing insights from relevant GMP sources (mainly GA4 and Google Ads)
- Conducting comprehensive analysis of property market data, identifying trends,
patterns and correlations
What we'll need from you
Essential:
Data analysis and exploration
Advanced SQL
Reporting and visualisation, including KPI dashboard creation
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
Communication skills - ability to present findings to a non-technical audience
Time management including prioritisation of workload and stakeholder
communication to manage expectations
Beneficial :
Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics 4 experience (setting up reports)
Trevor experience
Looker experience
A/B testing experience (e.g Growthbook)
