People Operations Manager

Granular is a fast-growing climate tech startup developing a platform to help electricity consumers, producers and suppliers move towards 24/7 clean energy. What will I be doing
We are looking for a People Operations Manager to join our growing team. As the first employee in the HR function, you will be instrumental in setting up the company culture.
Some example activities include:
Company culture: design and execute initiatives to cultivate a full remote, positive and inclusive company culture
Recruitment: improve our recruitment process and support hiring managers to ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience
Compensation: improve and own our compensation policy
Retain employees: monitor and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
Other day to day tasks
Establish and maintain HR policies and procedures
Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding
Manage payroll in liaison with our finance manager
HR experience in an early stage startup or scale up
Full remote or hybrid experience

We are offering salaries calculated as the 70th percentile of market data provided by Figures, and depending on your seniority and location.
As this position is open to a wider range of seniority than our usual job descriptions, there is no salary range displayed.
Granular is a remote-first organisation and this role is 100% remote. Ideally, you are located within 6h from Paris/London by train, in order to attend our all-hands physical events (ca. quarterly) without flying. The team is currently spread across multiple cities in FR, UK, DE, NL and CH.
Because of this, we are not currently able to accept applicants based outside Western Europe.
