Our Mission & Vision

To date, Grover has circulated over 1.2 million devices, employs over 400 people, and stands as one of the fastest-growing scale-ups in Europe. We hit Unicorn status in 2022, and are scaling internationally!

We're proud to champion a more sustainable way to use tech. With an average of 3-4 rental cycles per device depending on the category, we estimate that the rental of our portfolio from 2015-2021 resulted in 160,000 fewer e-waste products and about 250 tons of e-waste.

We are looking for a Head of Growth Marketing to join our talented Marketing team based in Berlin.

This role empowers our growth specialists across a multiple set of channels, through insights, analysis, and thought leadership. This is a meaningful role as it will be developing and executing strategies to ensure Grover hits its ambitious growth goals.

🎯As our Head of Growth Marketing, you will:

  • Define growth strategies and own our key growth metrics to drive user growth
  • Proactively identify, gather, and generate new user acquisition efforts & retention strategies to fuel Grover’s continued growth
  • Manage and optimize marketing budgets to meet targets, maximizing impact
  • Identify the right mix of marketing channels, activities, and programs to support the achievement of monthly and quarterly business goals
  • Build and lead a team of growth specialists, overseeing all marketing activities (paid and non-paid)
  • Collaborate with various departments, sharing insights and successes to elevate the team's overall impact
🤝 We are looking for a passionate Head of Growth Marketing, with:
  • 7+ years of proven work experience in startup/scale-up, strategy, growth, or a variety of other specialty roles (preferably within B2C e-commerce or subscription model)
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience managing a team
  • Growth and digital experience across acquisition (retention is a big plus) strategies to focus on driving subscription volume and value up. You know how to interact with our potential customers from all online channels, including offline, CRM, and onsite & app conversion strategies
  • Data-driven skillset to analyze, optimize, and drive efficiency of ROAS/CAC/LTV
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities
  • A passion for seeking complex, challenging, and ambiguous problems that warrant ambition and perseverance
  • Good English communication skills that allow you to explain your work clearly and to participate in constructive debate (German is a big plus)
  • A background in consumer growth with a digital platform or another consumer product or service company would be a plus
