Our Mission & Vision
To date, Grover has circulated over 1.2 million devices, employs over 400 people, and stands as one of the fastest-growing scale-ups in Europe. We hit Unicorn status in 2022, and are scaling internationally!
We're proud to champion a more sustainable way to use tech. With an average of 3-4 rental cycles per device depending on the category, we estimate that the rental of our portfolio from 2015-2021 resulted in 160,000 fewer e-waste products and about 250 tons of e-waste.
To continue this incredible adventure, we are currently looking for a talented Senior Accountant (m/f/x), full-time for our Finance team at our Berlin HQ (3 days per week).
🎯 What you will contribute:
- Preparation of consolidated and single entity financial statements according to German GAAP
- Ensure accurate record-keeping for fixed assets, i.e. depreciation, impairments, and COGS in compliance with German GAAP.
- Preparation of (ad-hoc) financial reports and financial analysis for various stakeholders
- Develop and implement new processes in group accounting, involving SAP S4 Hana, SAP B1, and our invoice workflow system
🤝 What you bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, accounting, economics, MBA, or industrial engineering with a focus on (group) accounting, financial reporting, finance, or auditing
- 5-7 years of professional experience in accounting or reporting of an internationally oriented company and/or in an auditing firm or tax advisory
- Key technical accounting skills in German GAAP (HGB)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
- Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA or an older version of SAP
- Strong communication skills in English (B2+ German is a strong plus)
