About the Role

The Payer Sales Director is responsible for developing and leading sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the Health Plan vertical at Fabric. This role involves building key relationships with health plan executive stakeholders within target accounts and a defined territory, tailoring our value propositions to target accounts, and navigating complex sales cycles with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll have access to a large support team consisting of marketing, solution design, product, clinical, and other resources to ensure a credible sales cycle and enable the company to meet or exceed sales targets. The ideal candidate has experience selling to health plans, familiarity with key accounts and market trends, a proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota, and experience selling at a hyper growth company.

What you'll do

  • Outreach to key stakeholders within assigned territory, build relationships with buyers and influencers at key accounts
  • Create pipeline to support annual quota by outbound, supporting demand generation activities, meeting prospects at industry events, etc.
  • Close opportunities with key accounts through successful enterprise deal management and contract negotiations
  • Follow existing payer sales process and make recommendations to improve and accelerate sales process at Fabric
  • Effectively present Fabric’s platform and service offerings to Health Plan executives
  • Leverage Fabric executives and supporting teams (solution design, product, clinical, etc.) to create successful presentations and deal cycles
  • Research key accounts, market trends and serve as an internal subject matter expert on health plans
  • Detail account information, activities, and more in Fabric CRM and other reporting tools
  • Solicits product and market feedback and communicates this feedback to sales leadership, marketing and the product development team (feature requests, market trends, competition intelligence, new opportunities)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience selling to health plans or minimum of 5 years experience selling enterprise deals to large healthcare organizations (i.e. health systems)
  • Experience selling complex, multi-stakeholder solutions - SaaS, healthcare IT, healthcare services, etc.
  • Self-starter and track record of high-performance in sales roles
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully negotiate complex contracts
  • Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Clear, concise communication and strong executive-level communication skills
  • Ability to navigate the strategic level of customer organizations, identify key decision-makers, build relationships with senior executives and schedule meeting with key stakeholders
