You will be a Senior Business Developer based either in Germany or the UK with a focus on the DACH region. Business development into insurance companies isn’t easy. Large or small, they are usually slow and reluctant to change. Moreover, despite lots of funding both from insurers and insurtechs, it has been hard to win over new customers time and cost effectively. That is exactly why we combine best in class technology with experience-based shortcuts of what actually works in the market and help insurers to engage in initiatives that actually work.

You will be engaging insurers and identifying people within them, who want to drive the business forward and who can benefit from our technology and advisory services. You will present our offering and help to chase tangible opportunities. The key is to balance the need for relationship building and consulting with structured and scalable outreach. You will also need to engage with potential multipliers such as consultancies, solution providers, event organisers and accelerators so we can work together in targeting insurers.

We have a full CRM of leads to reach out to and experience both on direct (both tech and use-case focused), event-based and large scale outreach campaigns. We will advise you on what worked and didn’t work so well in the past but it’s up to you to find your way here. We really want you to be curious and proactive and pursue potential wherever you see it.

Responsibilities include:

  • Searching for insurance companies and the right people within them
  • Ideating & executing relevant outreach campaigns
  • Identifying projects and opportunities to position our product and service offering
  • Following up with existing opportunities and engaging relevant stakeholders internally and externally
  • Engaging with potential partners and prepare application forms, respond to RFI/RFPs and create and conduct pitch presentations
  • Represent KASKO at events
  • Work closely with our CEO on joint pitches and opportunities
