Role Overview

We are hiring a Customer Strategy Manager to lead the end-to-end onboarding and implementation of clients onto the LIGHT platform.

While titled “Customer Strategy,” this is a highly execution-driven role. You will own customer onboarding from kickoff to go-live, ensuring structured delivery, stakeholder alignment, and measurable business impact.

This role is ideal for former consultants from:

  • McKinsey & Company

  • Boston Consulting Group

  • Bain & Company

  • Deloitte (Strategy / Customer / Monitor preferred)

You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery ownership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Strategy & Onboarding Design

  • Define onboarding approach tailored to customer segment and complexity

  • Lead diagnostic sessions to understand client objectives and constraints

  • Translate strategic objectives into implementation roadmaps

  • Identify value levers to accelerate time-to-impact

2. End-to-End Implementation Ownership

  • Own the onboarding lifecycle: kickoff → requirements → configuration → go-live → adoption

  • Build and manage detailed project plans

  • Lead weekly governance and executive updates

  • Manage scope, risks, and cross-functional dependencies

3. Client-Facing Leadership

  • Serve as primary point of contact during implementation

  • Engage senior stakeholders on the client side

  • Facilitate workshops and decision forums

  • Drive alignment between business and operational teams

4. Internal Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Success

  • Translate customer needs into structured internal deliverables

  • Improve onboarding playbooks and scalability

Candidate Profile

Required

  • 2+ years in top-tier consulting (MBB / Tier-1)

  • Experience leading workstreams or full project ownership

  • Strong client-facing exposure

  • Structured program management skills

  • Proven ability to move from strategy to execution

Strong Plus

  • SaaS or platform implementation experience

  • Customer lifecycle or digital transformation projects

  • PMO or operating model redesign experience

  • Commercial mindset with expansion awareness
