Linkup Remote Work Policy

About the company: Join Linkup
This document lays out Linkup’s policy for remote work.

What we believe in

This won’t change.
We believe that being together physically makes a difference. It helps us understand and get to know each others, build empathy and connection. It makes hard moments easier and celebrations even more joyful. It is necessary to create a sense of togetherness and bring us together in our mission.
We believe that our team members are top talent we can trust to make the right decisions for themselves and Linkup. That great work can be done from any location and that we sometimes just need to go surfing. We have debugged P0 incidents from the ski slopes and hold the company’s best interest when adventuring or taking care of loved ones.

Our Policy

This might change.
We expect employees to come to the office 4 days a week most work weeks. For personal reasons, employees can work remotely every once in a while, for a reasonable amount of time, as long as it does not impact their job performance and conditional to manager approval.
How many days: maximum 3 weeks (15 working days) remote per year
How frequently: maximum 1 week within 30 consecutive days
For example:
OK: working from London for 3 days because you have a wedding there and wanted to spend time with your family.
OK: working from Barcelona for a week because you need sunshine in the middle of a never ending rainy winter.
Not OK: moving to Bali for the summer.
OK: working from home on Wednesdays because you need to pickup your kid from school early.
Not OK: working from home every other week day.
For employees with specific needs, we will be flexible to adapt, as much as possible.
