We are looking for a talented developer to take on the task of building, maintaining and modding our Unreal Engine SDK into UE-built games.

LIV provides creators with the software necessary to capture and share their VR experiences. We strive to make integration with LIV as simple and performant as possible. Our SDK's are integrated by >50 developers monthly and we've integrated in over 2500 applications to date. You’ll work with indie and leading VR developers to embed LIV’s technology into their games, and put the power of our tooling into the hands of the world's largest community of VR creators. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an important part of our tech stack and to get involved in the growing VR and games industry.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Be the primary developer our Unreal Engine game capture SDKs
  • Support developers with integrations
  • Keep up to date with new developments in Unreal Engine
  • Testing, profiling, and optimisation
  • Maintaining our SDKs and handling releases

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in Unreal Engine
  • 3+ years graphics programming experience (DirectX, Vulkan, OpenGL, Metal etc.)
  • Familiar with XR development in Unreal
  • Familiar with the large Unreal Engine codebase
  • Experience writing shaders in Unreal Engine
  • Experience debugging graphics pipelines (E.g. via RenderDoc)
  • Familiar with Git and Perforce Helix Version Control System

Preferred Skills

  • CICD for Unreal projects and plugins
  • Experience modding Unreal Engine games
  • Slate UI experience
