Sales Development Representative & Growth Hacker

This role is a founding member, which means you will set the bar for the rest of the team. You will work closely with Leadership and help us define our sales culture. Pure and standard outbound won’t work at Manara; we are looking for someone who can help qualify inbound and develop different and fresh ideas to generate new opportunities.

Your Role

  • Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company.
  • Use a solution-oriented approach to understand customer requirements and needs and effectively communicate the value proposition.
  • Prospect and interact with C-Level and HR leaders of global enterprises and hyper-growth startups.
  • Schedule the initial calls, qualify them, and then help our CEO & Co-Founder with follow-ups.
  • Set appointments and follow up on leads for our CEO & Co-Founder
  • You will manage reporting and data entry on our CRM from different sources and tools.

Your Qualifications

  • Prior experience as an SDR/BDR, in recruiting or marketing, or as a founder of a startup, nonprofit, or student initiative is advantageous.
  • Experience with recruiting or selling into HR Leaders is a plus.
  • Proven track record of hitting quota and running activities on your own.
  • Being fluent in English. German or Arabic would be a huge plus.
  • Demonstrable commercial experience in dealing with C-levels and Owners.
  • Understanding of HubSpot and most common prospecting tools.
  • You have experience working on effective remote teams & thrive in such environments. You work well across time zones (e.g., communicating effectively via asynchronous oral & verbal channels) and can overlap some hours with our US West Coast team.

This role is based in Cairo. We have a hybrid remote/on-site model: a significant part of our team is in Cairo and can meet in a co-working space a few times per week. The rest of our team is around the world with our founders in California. You will need to work some evenings each week to align with our CEO's timezone.
