At Meilisearch, we're building a superfast, AI-powered search engine that developers love. We’re looking for an experienced DevRel/Developer Marketer — a coder-communicator — who can create demos, blog posts, videos, and talks to help us deepen engagement with our developer audience. You’ll be at the forefront of innovation in the search and AI space, educating and advocating for the vision of next-generation technology.
You'll work closely with your team—the Head of Marketing and Senior Growth Marketing Manager to shape and execute campaigns, content, and programs that educate, excite, and activate developers—from first discovery to long-term adoption.
Your mission will be
- Increase Meilisearch brand awareness by championing our brand among developer and tech communities
- Forge ecosystem alliances and create content to extend our reach and credibility in the B2B SaaS space.
- Facilitate developer onboarding and adoption through clear documentation and tools.
What you’ll do
Drive engagement and advocacy within our communities to fuel top-of-funnel growth
- Champion Meilisearch at community gatherings, meetups, and events, both online and offline
- Build lasting relationships with technical influencers and opinion leaders in the industry to amplify our brand.
- Maintain weekly presence across channels with meaningful interactions (Social media, community discussions, GitHub, Discord, forums, and events.)
Create and distribute technical content to help developers discover Meilisearch
- Craft multi-format engaging content such as blogs, tutorials, videos, and guides, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
- Ensure content aligns with campaign themes, contributing to an increase in traffic
Build demos and technical use cases that showcase Meilisearch’s capabilities
- Develop inspiring demos and sample applications that excite developers and support sales conversions and GTM enablement.
Bridge product, marketing, and community feedback to inform go-to-market strategies
- Collaborate closely with Product and Sales teams to reflect developer needs in our positioning and transform product updates into impactful launch campaigns
- Surface valuable industry innovations and community insights to inform product, marketing, and GTM.
You will be a good fit if you...
- Have experience working as a DevRel, developer marketing, technical product marketing, solution architect, or solutions engineer roles for technical products or devtools.
- Have a strong technical foundation to build product demos, comfortable digging into APIs and developer docs to create accurate content.
- Enjoy writing and speaking about technical topics in front of an audience in a clear and approachable way.
- Thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative, remote-first environment that encourages initiative and autonomy
- Comfortable owning the scope and actively contributing to the success criteria and high-level planning
Bonus points if...
- You’ve worked in remote-first companies.
- You understand the developer journey and how to influence it through content and campaigns.
- You’ve already built an audience or a community across your own channels
- You have a good understanding of Gen AI and AI industry
- You’re familiar with the search and vector database ecosystem.
