About the Role

Murphy is entering multiple international markets simultaneously, and we're looking for exceptional builders to lead that expansion.

As a GTM Market Launcher, you will act as the Founder of your market. You'll be responsible for taking Murphy from zero to meaningful revenue in a new geography, building the foundations for long-term success and contributing to a repeatable playbook that can be replicated across future launches.

This is not a traditional sales role.

You will own the entire go-to-market strategy and execution for your market: identifying opportunities, closing customers, validating messaging, building local partnerships, creating market intelligence, and ultimately turning a new geography into a scalable revenue engine.

You will have a proven product, strong customer references, a clear ARR target, and the support of the entire company behind you. What you'll need is the ability to navigate ambiguity, move fast, solve problems creatively, and relentlessly drive outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines the strategic thinking of a founder with the execution intensity of an elite operator.

  • Own the growth and commercial success of your assigned market, with full accountability for revenue outcomes.

  • Drive the entire revenue cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution design, negotiation, closing, onboarding and expansion.

  • Adapt and localize Murphy's GTM playbook to your market, including ICP definition, messaging, pricing, positioning and objection handling.

  • Develop and test different growth levers, including outbound, inbound, partnerships, events, channel sales and ecosystem relationships.

  • Build deep market expertise and become the internal voice of your geography, providing insights that influence product, marketing and strategy decisions.

  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, Operations and People teams to remove blockers and accelerate growth.

  • Partner with the Expansion Lead to capture learnings and continuously improve Murphy's global market-launch framework.

  • Recruit, hire and develop the first GTM team members in your market as you scale from individual contributor to local leader.

  • Ultimately build and lead a high-performing commercial organization capable of owning a significant share of the market.

About you

  • Founder or founder-like mindset. You've built something from zero before, whether that's a company, business unit, market, product, or commercial function, and understand what it takes to create momentum from scratch.

  • Extreme ownership. You don't wait for direction. You identify opportunities, solve problems, make decisions, and drive results with minimal oversight.

  • You'll pick up the phone, hop on the plane, knock on the door & show up wherever the opportunity is.

  • Commercial instinct. You've demonstrated the ability to win customers, generate revenue, or create growth. Traditional Account Executive experience is welcome, but we care more about outcomes than career paths.

  • AI fluency. You've worked with AI systems and made yourself more efficient. You have the curiosity to bring it to your daily challenges.

  • Deep local market understanding. You know how business gets done in your market, understand buyer behaviour, recognize competitive dynamics, and can navigate cultural nuances that influence commercial success.

  • Builder mentality. You thrive in ambiguity, enjoy figuring things out as you go, and are energized by challenges that don't have an obvious playbook.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. You're able to establish credibility quickly with prospects, customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

  • Native or fluent proficiency in Spanish and English.

  • Comfortable operating independently. You may initially be the only Murphy person in your country, and that excites rather than intimidates you.

Nice to have

  • Experience launching a new territory, geography, or business unit from scratch.

  • Full-cycle B2B sales experience selling to Mid-Market or Enterprise customers.

  • Exposure to AI, fintech, SaaS, collections, payments, lending, or other regulated environments.

  • Previous startup or scale-up experience in high-growth environments.

  • Experience hiring, coaching, or building commercial teams.

You’ll meet the Hiring Manager and potentially another team member. This is a more technical discussion where we explore your skills in detail, walk through real scenarios, and answer any questions you might have about the role.

3️⃣ Tech Assessment or Business Case
A practical exercise to see how you approach challenges similar to those you’d tackle at Murphy. You’ll have time to reflect and showcase your thinking—no rush, no surprises.

4️⃣ Meetthe Founders
