Position Overview: The Senior Automation Testing Engineer will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high quality of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automation tests across all phases of our software development life cycle. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain an automation test framework for functional, integration, and regression tests. Write, execute, and manage both black-box and white-box test scripts. Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure software is testable, and assist with code integration. Identify defects and inconsistencies, documenting them and working closely with the development team for resolutions. Provide leadership in defining and improving our overall QA processes and methodologies. Mentor junior automation engineers, promoting best practices and sharing knowledge. Work in an agile environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings. ... Collaborate with product managers to define test cases and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements. Continuously update tests based on new features, changes, and feedback. Monitor automation processes, and prepare defect statistics and reports. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in automation testing with a deep understanding of both black-box and white-box testing methodologies. Proficiency with popular automation testing tools and frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, etc. Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automation tests into deployment flows. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment. Excellent problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Haves: Experience with SaaS applications. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
