The Opportunity

PAIR is defining a new category with an AI adoption platform that helps enterprises navigate today’s AI challenges and anticipate tomorrow’s. Our ARR grew by 1,400% in 2025 and has approximately doubled again this year. Customers already include PwC, healf and The Crown Estate.

We are now looking for a Sales Manager to lead and develop 5-6 Enterprise Account Executives responsible for PAIR’s UK growth. This is a frontline leadership role in which you will develop a motivated, consistently high-performing team, ensure sufficient pipeline and strengthen the execution of complex enterprise deals.

You will report to our Head of Sales, UK. You will join with a structured handover before her parental leave. During her leave, you will have clear decision-making authority and report to our Commercial Director. When our Head of Sales returns, you will resume reporting to her and continue to own frontline leadership of the UK AE team.

What you will own

  • The number: Own the team target, territory and account planning, forecast accuracy, pipeline coverage and conversion. Create the clarity, focus and momentum the team needs to deliver.
  • The team: Lead and develop 5-6 Enterprise AEs. Onboard and ramp new joiners, coach consistently, set clear expectations and hold candid performance and development conversations.
  • The sales process: Embed and refine our sales playbook. Use data and customer insight to recommend priority sectors, channels and improvements to our wider go-to-market motion.
  • Complex strategic deals: Lead rigorous deal reviews and coach AEs from opportunity creation through discovery, qualification, multi-threading, negotiation and close. Join critical customer conversations where your involvement can change the outcome.

The sale

These are complex enterprise deals: aiming for six and seven figure values, sales cycles of three to nine months, multiple stakeholders and threads, and most often won directly rather than through tenders. The conversation begins with where the customer is on AI, what they have tried and what has not stuck, and moves to the key organisational problem: embedding new capability into how thousands of people work. PAIR is how that becomes measurable, operational and durable.

This year, we are deliberately moving from pilots designed to scale towards larger initial engagements, where PAIR becomes one of the top priorities a customer will put budget behind. Your team earns the right to advise the C-suite, IT and Security, HR and L&D, and procurement, often in the same week.

What we are looking for

You have:

  • Owned a team target, built reliable forecasts and turned performance or pipeline gaps into clear action.
  • Led, onboarded, developed and managed the performance of quota-carrying AEs in an enterprise B2B environment.
  • Personally sold complex enterprise software, technology or transformation solutions, including six-to seven-figure deals.
  • Coached AEs through long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, from prospecting and opportunity creation through to negotiation and close.
  • Owned territory and account planning in an enterprise sales environment.
  • Operated autonomously and made sound decisions in fast-moving environments where the path forward was not always defined.
  • Exercised strong judgement and communicated credibly in senior customer conversations.

You do not need to be an AI expert when you join. You do need to be curious about how AI changes organisations, willing to develop a strong point of view quickly and stay up to date with this fast-moving industry.

Experience with early-stage companies, hiring or AI adoption is useful but not essential.

We know strong candidates do not always match every criterion. If the scope excites you and you believe your experience could translate, we encourage you to apply.

The team and how we work

This is a team that works hard and holds a high bar. As a manager, you will be expected to combine high standards with practical support: clear expectations, candid feedback, regular coaching and fair decisions. We operate with high trust and clear outcomes.

Our belief
