Come and join us on our inspiring journey.We have an exciting vacancy for an ambitious and enthusiastic Account Manager looking for their next career step. This position is full time and home based with an expectation of some travel.You will be managed by an experienced Senior Account Managers with a wealth of industry knowledge, with the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of processes within the team. Responsibilities:
  • After an initial training period, you will be responsible for managing all elements of an allocated set of Accounts, escalating to the Senior Account Managers as necessary
  • Devise, develop and execute collaborative Account Plans with key customers
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment between the customer and PKB objectives and delivery of these objectives, including attending/ presenting at board meetings
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple teams within PKB to enable the successful delivery of projects and programmes of work
  • Maintain positive relationships and understand the respective needs of all stakeholders in your accounts, acting as a point of escalation for any issues
  • Manage contract details, payment and be ultimately responsible for the renewal of contracts
  • Work closely with sales and marketing team to generate leads into other Trusts, ICS, STP based on successful networking and delivery of benefits within your Accounts
  • You will be expected to keep up to speed with system knowledge and have a good understanding of the UK medical market
  • Utilise our CRM extensively to ensure up to date information and activities are always recorded
  • Maintain awareness of industry sector and technological advances
RequirementsWe are looking for someone with:
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to project a confident and professional image inline with the company brand and values
  • Self-starter – with passion and drive to build a great career and contribute to company growth
  • An enthusiasm for healthcare and a belief in the PKB mission
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability and experience to adapt these styles to different situations/audiences
  • The confidence to present information to key stakeholders/decision makers
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail
It would be ideal if you had:
  • At least one year of Account Management experience ideally in a software company and/or working with the NHS
