About Paua
Paua makes public electric vehicle charging simple. 🔌 🚗 We enable more people to use electric vehicles by enabling drivers to find, charge and pay via one single platform and across multiple charging networks. You will jump into the deep end of the “EV charging pool” and learn fast in this exciting and fast-growing space 🚀 Transport is the biggest source of emissions in the UK today and we are on a mission to address this challenge.
Paua is a multi-award-winning company backed by some of Europe’s leading Ventures Capital funds (Speedinvest, Seedcamp and Octopus Ventures) as well as multiple angels. We have truly embraced remote working having been born in Covid but like to get together each week at our co-working space in Farringdon, London.
Would you like to…
- Dive into the electric vehicle revolution and learn first-hand with a pioneering tech start up
- Gain insight into the world of “EV roaming” with a UK market leader
- Work directly with product, operations and strategy teams to deliver a range of outcomes
- Assist with the day to day running of a growth businesses, helping things run as smoothly as possible
- Work closely with a range of our customers and partners on a variety of exciting projects
- Undergo necessary training and achieve professional development milestones

We would like you to…
- Have strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Be happy getting stuck into a variety of projects, initiatives and responsibilities
- Be able to convert objectives into a plan which you will then deliver
- Help drive the growth and quality of our network of EV charging locations
- Support the development of new products and features for EV drivers and fleet managers
- Support our operations manager to keep our customers well-served and happy
- Have keen attention to detail and be highly organised
- Confidently engage with partners and project stakeholders
- Communicate clearly with your Paua colleagues at all levels
- Be self-motivated and able to use your initiative when faced with new problems
- Be highly productive working independently and as part of our team
- Be an analytical thinker who can think creatively to solve problems
- Get to know our product and services inside out, and stay up to date with the latest changes to our solution
- Keep an eye on the wider e-mobility landscape so we can act early on new opportunities
- Be able and willing to learn new skills 🎓
- Not be afraid to ask for help. We value honesty and have a culture of care and support
- Not be afraid to try new ideas (and fail!)
- It would be a bonus if you have had experience of: the automotive sector, fleets, or the electric vehicle ecosystem
- Have a full clean driving licence (we sometimes require chargers tested in the field with our company EV)
- Be fluent in English

Salary: £25-£35k depending on experience + company share options
Schedule: Monday to Friday – we have some fixed hours but are flexible
Location: Work remotely anywhere in the UK (we do like to get the team together at least once a week at our co-working space in London)
