Peer Medical is on a mission to empower lung cancer patients to take control of their treatment journeys. Our users power the platform by sharing their de-identified medical information to help others learn what they learned and be better equipped to make decisions. Venture funded and growing, Peer Medical will soon take this crowd-sourced peer advice to all cancers and chronic diseases globally.

About This Role:
As the Director of Marketing, you will develop and execute the integrated marketing plans to meet our user acquisition goals. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead marketing campaigns, evaluate our marketing performance metrics, and collaborate with Business Development, Patient Care and Product Development Teams. You will have a strong marketing background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

What you’ll work on:
Oversee and drive user acquisition to grow our anonymized medial data set and support the research efforts of our marketing partners
Grow our Facebook Ads channel by creating and optimizing new ad campaigns
Implement new paid channels to develop our multi-channel acquisition funnel (including SEM, SEO, Native Advertising and other ad platforms and networks)
Create and manage private Facebook groups focused on our audience segments (eg EGFR Biomarkers)
Develop and publish content to support our companies thought leadership and educate our audience about the power of sharing data
Own strategy, development, and execution of targeted marketing programs that include but are not limited to demand generation campaigns, email nurturing, advocacy partner events, webinars and PR
Track performance and provide recommendations on how to improve

What we’re looking for:
Strong experience in demand generation/digital marketing
Healthcare/pharmaceutical industry experience a big plus
Proficiency with Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Segment, Intercom and SendGrid strongly desired
Self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, multitasker, creative, and analytical
Experience in managing freelance creative teams to stay productive and be on time and on budget
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is extremely important
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Bachelor’s degree required
This is a contract 1099 role
