So what’s the opportunity?

We’re looking for an experienced, creative, results-oriented demand generation marketer to lead our Demand Generation team at Pleo. This role involves defining our demand generation strategy and investment model, creating and capturing high quality top of funnel demand through a variety of tactics and channels in a cost effective and efficient way to support pipeline creation and the achievement of revenue goals.

We are looking for a candidate that can lead and drive the Demand Generation team and strategy encompassing integrated campaign orchestration and management, email, digital,webinar functions and customer advocacy. This individual will become a critical member of the Revenue Marketing Team and will report to our Senior Director, Revenue Marketing. This is a full-time 12 month maternity leave contract.

In this role you will..

  • Lead and develop a small team of demand generation specialists.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive demand generation strategies to drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Manage lead generation programs, including lead capture, scoring, and nurturing, to maximise lead quality and conversion rates.
  • Develop a customer advocacy programme to recognise, federate and eventually foster upselling/cross-selling opportunities for our sales team through various initiatives: awards programme, customer advisory board, working in close relationship with marketing teams on customer stories etc.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop integrated marketing and sales campaigns and align efforts to achieve business objectives.
  • Support and enable SDRs, and Account Executives to utilise marketing programmes and messaging to engage and progress leads to opportunity and generate revenue.
  • Measure, analyse and report on the impact of programmes and improve our performance when & where needed. Track our results to make sure the right investments are made and closely monitor which channels are working.
  • Manage the demand generation budget. Allocate resources to channels that yield the most efficient return on investment and deliver results in line with business targets
  • Maintain a feedback loop between sales and marketing to optimise lead generation campaigns and find opportunities for pipeline acceleration and sales conversions.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage outside vendors and specialist agencies that contribute to demand creation programmes, ensuring performance metrics are met and they deliver high-quality results.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in demand generation and leverage data-driven insights to continually refine strategies and drive results.

What you’ll bring

  • A minimum of 8 years experience in SaaS B2B marketing roles with a particular focus on digital demand generation experience including paid social, content syndication, ABM, lead generation and scoring, nurture and email marketing and webinar programmes
  • Are an experienced people manager - you’ll be leading a team of demand generation marketers, so we’re looking for someone who knows how to develop, lead, motivate and get the best out of people
  • Are self-motivated, energetic and results oriented marketer with a track record of impact
  • Excel in a fast paced, highly matrixed environment and embrace change and ambiguity
  • Are a credible communicator with impeccable presentation skills
  • FinTech background would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools such as HubSpot and Clay advantageous
