Messy spend management is tricky business. And tedious processes are a lose-lose situation for all involved, not just finance. At Pleo, we're changing that. We build spend solutions that make managing money seamless, empowering, and surprisingly effective for finance teams and employees alike—with a vision to help all businesses ‘go beyond’.

The word ‘Pleo’ actually means ‘more than you’d expect’, and living by that mantra has been the secret to our success over the last 10 years.

Now, we’re at a pivotal moment in our journey; every move we make has a direct impact on our 40,000+ customers, our business, and our collective success. We need people who take pride in uncovering customer needs, who turn complex problems into simple solutions, challenge the way things are done (respectfully), and always aim high. With great ambitions driving us forward, we can’t say we’ve got this whole thing figured out. And frankly, that’s half the fun! What we can say is that we’re a driven, progressive, and, importantly, a kind bunch of 850+ people from over 100 nationalities, all committed to delivering the future of business spending, together.

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager, Credit Products to join our Credit team at Pleo. In this role, you'll help solve liquidity issues and empower users with better cash flow as we scale existing credit products and build new ones from scratch. If you're excited about discovery, prototyping, and building with minimal tech debt and are passionate about the future of Fintech, then this is the opportunity for you!

Who you’ll be working with and reporting to

You’ll report to our Product Director (or relevant Manager) and work closely with teams in Credit Operations, Engineering, and Design. Our cross-functional team is highly collaborative and dedicated to translating complex financial scenarios into easily understood problems to solve. You’ll also have the chance to partner with teams across the company to manage shared KPIs and ensure holistic success.

What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Product Manager, Credit Products, you will:

  • Lead initiatives to build future-proof products by deeply understanding current fintech problems.
  • Collaborate with Credit Operations, researchers, and designers to drive research into customer cash flow problems and build creative solutions.
  • Analyze data using a quantitative toolbox to prioritize features and make high-impact decisions.
  • Launch products in new markets while navigating the constraints of highly regulated financial environments.
  • Inspire your team to take creative risks and add a human, emotional element to technical solutions.

To put things into context, we currently have new market expansions and core credit architecture scaling on our roadmap.

What you bring

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Technical Depth – A good understanding of system architecture and how it influences solution design.
  • Communication Mastery – The ability to explain complex technical or financial concepts to anyone.
  • Analytical Mindset – Strong skills in quantitative analysis for effective prioritization.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit – A history of "light bulb moments" and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with Regulated Products – Extensive experience building user-facing products within financial regulations.
  • A background in Credit – Previous experience specifically within credit or cash-flow-related financial products

Why is this role a good fit for you

This role is a good fit for you if:

  • You love being part of early-stage discovery and building products from the ground up.
  • You value a flat hierarchy and want your voice to be heard in a vocal, supportive community.
  • You enjoy challenging the status quo and balancing granular details with a holistic view.

This role is not a good fit for you if:

  • You prefer top-down decision-making rather than a bottom-up, collaborative approach.
  • You are uncomfortable working with shared KPIs or collaborating across different departments.
  • You prefer working on legacy systems rather than navigating the ambiguity of new product prototyping.

How you’ll develop in this role

In your first three months at Pleo, you’ll:

  • Lead the discovery phase for a new credit feature to drive impact in user liquidity.
  • Collaborate with Credit Operations to improve the efficiency and scalability of our financial solutions.
  • Grow your skills, taking on the challenge of launching regulated products in diverse markets.

We’re committed to helping you develop your career, whether that means taking on bigger projects, stepping into leadership, or acquiring new skills in product management.”
