THAT'S WHERE YOU COME IN
As a Build and Release Engineer at PortalOne, you will be responsible for orchestrating the seamless build, deployment, versioning, and automation processes for our cross-platform project (Android, iOS, Windows) and its downloadable content (DLCs). Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the reliability, consistency, and efficiency of our software releases.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Your mission involves encompassing a wide range of responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of build, deployment, and automation processes, including:
- Automating the build, deployment, and versioning processes for our cross-platform project (Android, iOS, Windows) and its DLCs.
- Extending and maintaining the existing CI/CD pipelines and tools, fine-tuning them to accommodate evolving project needs.
- Managing and thoroughly documenting deployment procedures and build automation processes to ensure clear and consistent guidelines.
- Regularly generating product builds across multiple platforms, adhering to predefined schedules and quality standards.
- Troubleshooting and resolving build-related issues promptly, collaborating with relevant teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Communicating build problems, challenges, and solutions effectively to relevant stakeholders and teams.

By taking on the role of a Build and Release Engineer at PortalOne, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our software delivery processes across various platforms. Your contributions will be instrumental in propelling our mission to reshape entertainment. Here is what we want to see in your application:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in build and release engineering or a similar role within software development, with at least 1 shipped mobile title as a programmer/engineer.
- Proficiency in build automation tools and continuous integration platforms, such as Jenkins, or equivalent
- Experience designing, implementing and improving continuous integration and release workflows, with a solid understanding of CI best practices.
- Extensive knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and hands-on experience with branching and merging strategies.
- Demonstrated experience with cross-platform build and deployment processes, including Android, iOS, and Windows.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex build issues, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Strong documentation skills to maintain clear and concise deployment procedures and build automation guidelines.
- Effective communication skills, enabling seamless collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
BONUS
- Proficiency in C# and experience developing and supporting updating software (C#/WPF) or similar applications is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with UE sequence rendering automation and experience optimizing processes within Unreal Engine projects is preferred but not required.
