We are building the next generation power plant, powered by end-consumers, instead of the traditional large-scale power plants.
This one doesn't take fossil fuels or radioactive isotopes, but instead manages the renewable energy and flexible devices (cars, heat pumps, ...) of end-consumers to generate more or less energy.
The job
As our International Account Manager, you will take ownership of the entire customer journey, building lasting partnerships with energy stakeholders worldwide. From identifying opportunities to onboarding clients and fostering their success, you will be the face and driving force behind Powernaut’s customer relationships.
You will work closely with the founders, shaping strategic decisions and ensuring alignment with our company vision.
Your day-to-day will involve:
Identifying and engaging prospects in key international markets.
Designing and delivering compelling pitches tailored to stakeholder needs.
Closing deals that align with Powernaut’s mission and revenue goals.
Leading onboarding and implementation efforts, ensuring seamless integration with our platform.
Monitoring customer satisfaction and providing hands-on support to ensure success.
Spotting upselling opportunities and collaborating with clients to expand their use of our solutions..
The profile
Requirements
5+ years of experience in account management, business development, or similar roles in the energy or technology sector.
Strong understanding of electricity markets and the challenges of energy flexibility.
Proven ability to manage the full sales lifecycle, including outreach, closing, implementation, and success management.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with additional fluency in German, French, or Dutch as a bonus.
Entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in a startup or scale-up environment where priorities shift quickly.
Ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders across all levels of organisations.
A self-starter who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to deliver results with minimal oversight.
Willingness to travel and regularly meet the team in Ghent.
