We are looking for a DeFi Algorithmic Trader to join our team in London. You will work within a diverse group of engineers and scientists to improve our proprietary trading by extracting vast amounts of DeFi data with the aim of identifying relevant trading signals and feeding these into your live strategies.

What you do as DeFi Algorithmic Trader:

  • Come up with novel approaches of extracting, analysing and interpreting DeFi market data for trading purposes
  • Connect our trading engine to relevant data sources and express your algorithmic trading strategy
  • Identify predictive signals for our live trading and improve existing trading processes
  • Shape our trading footprint by identifying new markets to trade on

Qualities that make you an ideal fit:

  • You enjoy solving complex problems by focusing on results rather than process
  • Quick to learn, unconventional thinking, creativity and persistence
  • Good mix of engineering and data science skills in the domain of time series analysis
  • Strong coding skills in a modern programming language
  • In-depth knowledge of decentralised finance protocols such as Ethereum
  • Ideally familiar with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • PhD, MSc from top tier universities in relevant STEM subjects (mathematics, physics, computer science)
  • This is a front office trading role and as such permanent remote work is not an option
