Shape the Future of Robotics and Data Platforms as a Product Manager at Rerun

At Rerun, we’re building a new multimodal data stack for robotics and spatial AI. Large parts of the physical-world economy will be transformed by these technologies, and we're developing the data infrastructure and tools that make it possible. Rerun’s open-source project focuses on visualizing and handling multimodal logs and is already loved by some of the best teams in the world.

We’re looking for a technical and content-savvy Product Manager to work closely with founders, engineers, and design partners to drive product coordination and communication. This is a hands-on execution role—perfect for someone with a strong engineering background, solid product management experience, and a track record of effective communication through writing, blogging, or open-source contributions.

What You’ll Work On

As a Product Manager at Rerun, you’ll:

  • Own product coordination, in particular keeping a track of product needs emerging from design partners and ensuring we are meeting them effectively.

  • Translate the existing product vision into a clear, actionable plan by collaborating with founders and engineers to structure priorities and drive execution.

  • Manage product communications through writing product updates, maintaining design partner communication (e.g., update emails), and ensuring transparency around new versions and feature developments.

  • Collaborate with the team to support sales and marketing efforts such as creating compelling marketing copy, sales materials, and product documentation for external stakeholders.

  • Immerse yourself in our product and technology, gain a deep understanding of our tech stack, and actively test and refine what we’re building.

  • Bridge technical and commercial needs by interpreting customer contracts and technical requirements, ensuring alignment between business and engineering priorities.

  • Maintain an active presence in the open-source and robotics community by writing technical reports, contributing to discussions, and driving thought leadership within the AI and robotics ecosystem.

We’d Love It If You Have

  • A strong engineering background with prior experience as an engineer before transitioning into product management.

  • Proven experience in product management, in a fast-paced environment, ideally at an early-stage startup or a high-growth company.

  • Proven ability optimising execution and streamlining processes to turn established product visions into reality— you love rolling up your sleeves to make things happen, driving execution and smooth processes from the engine room rather than steering from the helm!

  • Market experience in AI, robotics, or physical AI, with a background in self-driving, drones, robotics, or similar deep-tech industries and a strong understanding of customer needs.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with a track record of blogging, technical writing, or creating content that translates complex topics into clear, engaging narratives.

  • You thrive in an early-stage, high-agency environment, thriving in a fast-moving setting with highly skilled engineers who resist excessive process-heavy structures.

  • Timezone alignment – Ideally based in Europe (used to working with West Coast customers) or US East Coast (Boston area preferred).

How we work at Rerun

  • We're a remote company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.

  • We meet up in person for a week roughly once a quarter

  • The team you'll join currently has members in European and US-east timezones

    • Everyone is available for synchronous work between 1:30 and 5pm CET

    • This is a new sub-team so for the right candidate we are open shifting this sync-time window to better accommodate the US west coast

  • We've put together an uncommonly talented tech team, value agency and helpfulness highly, and expect everyone to take broad responsibility for what they build

  • We offer competitive cash and equity compensation, six weeks paid vacation, and whatever hardware and software you need to do your job
