Engineering

At Rerun, we’re building the data stack for robotics and Physical AI. As our product adoption grows, we’re looking for a Full-stack Engineer to design and own the customer portal that serves as the interface to the control plane for our hosted cloud product.

This role is at the intersection of product and infrastructure: you’ll work across the stack to design on-boarding workflows, account management, configuration interfaces, billing and payment integrations, and build the internal services and APIs that make usage-based pricing reliable and transparent.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the design and implementation of our customer portal and partner with product and design to deliver smooth customer experiences for workflows including onboarding, account management, authentication, monitoring and reporting, metering, and billing.

  • Work with our product owner, designer and platform team to produce a great customer experience

  • Work across the stack: backend services, frontend dashboards, and integrations with external providers.

  • Integrate with infrastructure and data pipelines that make usage metering accurate, reliable, and auditable.

  • Ensure the platform is secure, resilient, and scalable as we grow.

We’d love It If You Have

(Don’t worry - you don’t need to tick all these boxes!)

  • Experience building billing systems or working with payment providers (e.g. Stripe, Paddle, Chargebee, Recurly).

  • Experience with authentication/authorization systems, role-based access, and multi-tenant SaaS architectures.

  • Understanding of usage metering and reporting in SaaS or API-driven products.

  • Strong background in full-stack engineering — comfortable working across backend and frontend.

  • Familiarity with a frontend framework (we use Svelte).

  • Previous experience with a backend language (e.g. Rust or Go).

  • Comfortable interfacing with Kubernetes (declarative APIs / operator pattern)

How we work at Rerun

  • We're a remote company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.

  • We meet up in person for a week roughly once a quarter

  • The team you'll join has members in European and US-East Coast timezones

    • You should be available for synchronous work between 1:30–5:00pm CET.

Given our current team distribution, candidates outside of Europe or the US will be considered on a case-by-case basis to ensure there’s enough overlap for effective collaboration.

  • We've put together an uncommonly talented tech team, value agency and helpfulness highly, and expect everyone to take broad responsibility for what they build

  • We offer competitive cash and equity compensation, six weeks paid vacation, and whatever hardware and software you need to do your job
