Threat Intelligence Investigator
Resistant AI
We are a fast-growing Series A tech startup that helps financial institutions verify documents for fraud with AI, and we are expanding rapidly to meet the demands of the evolving financial crime landscape.
To support this growth, we are looking for a threat intelligence investigator with strong content creation skills to join our Threat Intelligence unit in Prague, CZ.
You will help us uncover and track document fraud operations while transforming these insights into compelling content that drives awareness and business growth.
We need someone who can blend investigative research, data analysis and reporting, and creative storytelling to expose the sophisticated fraud ecosystem threatening financial institutions globally.
❓What you'll do
This role involves conducting deep investigations into document fraud operations, analyzing threat data, and creating content that brings these findings to light for both technical and business audiences.
- Conduct primary online research into document fraud ecosystems using various OSINT (open-source intelligence) techniques, tools and strategies
- Transform data-based findings into marketable content: Create quarterly threat reports, monthly newsletters, weekly social media content, and press-digestible insights about emerging fraud trends.
- Develop threat intelligence dossiers for account-based marketing, providing segment-specific intelligence to support sales efforts.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure research findings improve detection capabilities.
- Build and maintain databases tracking threat actors, their infrastructure, and capabilities.
- Monitor the channels used by criminals for emerging threats and techniques.
- Contribute to the design and development of the entire intelligence gathering cycle, including data gathering, analysis, reporting and visualization.
❓What you're like
- You have a background in investigative journalism, OSINT research, or cyber threat intelligence, with a proven track record of uncovering hidden networks and telling their stories.
- You're comfortable navigating the darker corners of the internet, from obscure forums to telegram channels, while maintaining operational security.
- You have strong data analysis skills and can work with large datasets, web scraping tools, and basic scripting (Python knowledge is a plus).
- You're an excellent writer and storyteller who can translate complex technical findings into compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- You understand how to balance transparency with operational security, knowing what to share publicly without enabling criminals.
- You have a genuine interest in fraud, financial crime, or cybersecurity domains, and are passionate about further educating both yourself and others about these issues
- You loves puzzles, challenges, and creative problem-solving without instructions on how to tackle them.
- You're self-motivated and can work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
