About the role
The Finance team is an integral part of any business. At Revolut, we take that one step further. They support all areas of the company, assessing the financial implications of various key strategic decisions and growth opportunities.
We're looking for a Lead Financial Controller to report to the Head of Financial Control. You'll lead the Treasury Financial Control team, overseeing treasury accounting (derivatives, hedging, etc.), equity (currency translation reserves, share-based payments), consolidation, and intercompany transactions.

What you’ll be doing
- Leading the monthly financial close process for the treasury portfolio, including ensuring all accounting and reconciliations are completed within deadlines
- Working with other Financial Controllers (group and local) on financial/regulatory reporting, product control, and accounting technology to ensure accuracy
- Delivering process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our accounting, reconciliation, and overall control environment
- Helping to digitise and automate our accounting, reconciliation, and control processes while developing our accounting and reconciliation platforms
- Supporting the group and legal entity audits, along with other regulatory deliverables
- Collaborating with various teams on the launch of new products and markets, providing accounting advice and implementation support
What you'll need
- A relevant accounting or related qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CFA)
- 10+ years of post-qualified experience in finance and controlling functions
- Team management experience
- Excellent accounting knowledge, including solid IFRS skills and practical experience of working with a variety of financial instruments
- Experience in banking, financial services, and/or fintech
- A structural and logical approach to solving problems
- Impressive analytical skills
- Experience within a fast-growing organisation
- Great motivation and focus on delivery
Nice to have
- SQL and data analysis skills
- Knowledge of capital and related regulatory frameworks
